Optimized for high power density, the new MAN 35/44DF CD is a reduced-footprint genset that is easy to integrate onboard.

For example, on an LNG carrier, you only need three MAN 35/44DF CD gensets (3x8 cylinders at 560 kW) instead of the typical four-genset configuration (eg 2x6 + 2x8 cylinders at 480 kW).
